Hi, I’m Whitney. I believe each person has the capacity for healing, growth, and change, even when life feels overwhelming or unclear.
Many of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, ADHD, family changes, grief, stress, or major life transitions. You may know something needs to shift, but not know where to begin. Therapy can give you space to slow down, understand what you are experiencing, and begin building a path forward.
My role is to meet you where you are and support you in reconnecting with your own strengths. I aim to create a safe, affirming space where you can feel seen, understood, and supported as you work through challenges and move toward healing.
Professional background
I am a registered mental health counselor intern in Florida and a certified school counselor with 18 years of experience supporting children, teens, and families in school settings. My background includes individual counseling, small group counseling, crisis support, behavioral support, consultation, and working closely with families and school teams.
Through my work as a school counselor, I have helped students and families navigate emotional, behavioral, social, and developmental challenges. This experience has shaped the way I understand people in context, including the impact of family systems, transitions, stress, school experiences, and relationships.
In addition to my school counseling background, I provide behavioral health counseling and support clients working through anxiety, ADHD, grief and loss, stress, family changes, and life transitions. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to offering care that is respectful, person-centered, and collaborative.

A supportive, person-centered approach
Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and centered on your individual needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and person-centered therapy to help you better understand yourself, build coping skills, and move toward meaningful change.
Our work may include exploring patterns in your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and responses to stress. We may also focus on emotional regulation, self-acceptance, communication, problem-solving, grief, or building resilience through difficult seasons.
I believe therapy works best when you feel respected and understood. Together, we will create a space where you can be honest about what you are facing and begin developing tools that support healing and growth.
Taking the next step
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you are used to handling things on your own. You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning.
If you are looking for a supportive, affirming space to work through anxiety, ADHD, family changes, grief, stress, or life transitions, I invite you to reach out and schedule a consultation.
